The Impact of Personal Information Protection Law on Foreign Enterprises in China and Global Companies

Legal Regulations, Challenges, and Solutions

In the wave of globalization, personal information protection has become an indispensable aspect of international business activities. Particularly in China, with the formal implementation of the Personal Information Protection Law (PIPL), unprecedented challenges and opportunities have arisen for foreign enterprises operating in China and those expanding internationally.

This webinar aims to delve into the practical impact of PIPL on international business operations and explore how companies can comply with new regulations while maintaining business agility and competitiveness. We will analyze the background and core requirements of PIPL and discuss specific strategies for compliance based on data migration. Additionally, we’ll share best practices for SAP S/4 HANA Cloud’s global localization, helping foreign enterprises and global businesses navigate compliance requirements in data processing activities.

Please join us to explore how SAP can achieve both compliance and innovation within the global data protection legal framework.
This webinar not only provides an excellent opportunity to understand and adapt to the Personal Information Protection Law but also serves as a platform for direct interaction with industry experts.
We look forward to your participation and contributing together to sustainable business development.
